Smartflip/Qtek 8500 vs I-mate SP5/Qtek 8310

Hi all. I just had to give up my recently acquired work issued I-mate Sp5 to our development team for testing but am now able to pick another phone. I have used all types of device from Treo 650 to the last two days with the HTC TyTN (in Orange M3100 form). I really liked the SP5 so am about to order it again although I have not considered the Smartflip (until now). Ruled out HTC Mteor.

My main priorities are form factor, push email/calender/contacts and ideally to play some MP3s. Everything else is a nice to have. As the email was much better than I thought even without keyboard (I am pretty quick with T9), I think a smartphone suites me best.

Can anyone give me an opinion on the Smartflip/Qtek in relation to the SP5/8310? Seems very nice but lacks wifi (didnt really use it anyway as GPRS is fine for push email) and more importantly, seems to have a worse battery life. In its favour, a cleaner music setup and nice form factor. I think both look nice and seem small after my recent devices.

Finally, do both support A2DP? Only just heard about this. If it means wireless music with equivalent volume and sound quality to normal headphones, this would be a high priority.

Thanks all!
