Hey guys just wondering if you know when lonley cats will release smartmovie for s60 v3. My E61 needs some movie lovin and realplayer isnt cutting it! Thanks in advanced!

They dont have a S60v3 phone to test with. The programmer is working with an emulator and is working on a late May release.

I installed Smart Movie 3.20 on my laptop and E61. Converted a short avi I had laying around. Bluetoothed the converted vid over to my E61 and it played!
Video quality was ok considering my source material was crap in the first place. I'll have to test later with a better quality source.

For you E61 users:
For the video to play back in Landscape mode in Smart Movie on the phone, go into Options --> PREFERRED MODE = Portrait.

Another cool feature I like which is more likely a result of the BT implementation on the E61....
I'm at work and have my Profile set to Silent. But I also have my Plantronics 510 BT ear piece in. When I play a movie in Smart Movie, no sound comes out of the phone BUT sound IS routed to my BT ear piece!....NICE!

Once I play around with this some more, I'll definitely be purchasing a key from Lonelycatgames!

That's one thing I LOVE about Nokias, ALL sound plays through the headset. I used to use this in class to watch movies. Anyone tried this on their N80 yet? I downloaded the ZIP to my phone, but don't have anything to unzip with.

Works well on my N80... but I just converted all of my vids to play on the Real player (which has no fast forward or rewind... so annoying) and $30.00 is kind of steep for 1 app... so I might hold off and hope Nokia updates their player a bit.
