Small problem with starting my 2006 ford focus?

I have had my car for about 6 months and has had a full service about 5 months ago, but every now and then i go to start my car and it doesnt, it just makes the noise and doesnt start, i have to stop and then try again and it starts. Sometimes it sounds like it has started but really weakly and as soon as i let go of the key it stops again. It did this right after the service aswell so im thinking if its a major problem should they have spotted it? Any ideas what it could be?
 
I can tell you what the problem is in one word: FORD. I'm sorry but you should not have bought a Ford, or any "American" car. I put that in parenthesis because Honda and Toyota have plants in America, but are from another country. Look at any consumer reports, and note how much red and white you see (above average and excellent), and how much black and white you see in Ford, General Motors and Chrysler, and their respective brands. I have a Pontiac (General Motors), and it already needed a fuel pump replaced, its a 2003. That is very uncommon. I'm completely serious too, I'm not just heckling you. I would fix it, and sell it. It's never too late in fact, sell it now and get more money back than selling it later. Fords depreciate so quickly. I know we should be buying American cars, but what about their DIRECT effect on OUR finances? Sure, it boosts the economy, but what about their repair costs? That takes away from our money supply which hurts the economy as well. When they start making cars as historically reliable as Honda and Toyota, I'll buy American. My Pontiac was bought for me. I should have gotten a Scion but their so damn ugly. It sounds like either a weak battery, a faulty starter or possible a fuel pump. Take it, if it's under warranty. Hopefully, when buying a Ford especially, you got a full-extended warranty.
 
were was the sound coming from? i think it may be your starter or loose connection is it flooding and does the ecu light come on. if so it could be a sensor
 
There are just so many things that could be wrong that its hard to answer the question. The best thing to do is take it in and have it diagnosed.
