Small closet with toooo much clothes!! HELP!?

So I have a very small closet in my room.. but a lot of clothes!
My room is pretty decent sized, but im trying to figure out how to use my room so i can have more storage for my clothes. I have thought about putting rods from one wall to the other to create more storage but i just don't think i like that idea very much. Any tips or ideas?? Im in need of some help please!!
 
go to walmart or kmart somthing like that... they have "hangers" that actually supply a second closet rod underneath. i bought them for my closet so now when i open up my closet i have two rods for clothes one upper and one lower. Hope this helps!
 
You can buy these big plastic bags that yoou stick the nozzle of your hoover into and it sucks all the air out. You just fill it with clothes and suck all the air out. It saves soooooo much space.
 
You can get a dresser. Also they sell these things in wal mart where it holds five hangers but it takes up the room on one. So you can hang 5 shirts up but it will only take up the room on 1 hanger and this really helps you can donate clothes to kid orphanages and the salvation army. Hope I helped
 
typical answer would be get rid of some of your clothes..but that isn't very helpful, so add more shelves...even if you have to use like a little step stool to reach it in your closet, do it! and you should put like winter clothes in a box, and keep it under your bed...when it's time for winter you can just switch your wardrobe and put like all the summer clothes in the box.
