You dont need free advice, because anything you can do to help yourself you will need a legal representative to do it for you. We all have rights, but it takes courts to enforce them. Start a journal. Write down exactly how you spoke, financed, arranged the business, start making photo copies of any documents you can. If a shared bank account demand it closed, or empty it out and divide or whatever, so that you do not incur debts you know nothing about, but as a partner will be legally responsible for.
The journal, write down all verbal discussions to the best of your knowledge, put down the begining, how the business started out, then how the changes started occuring, put as many dates as you can. Journals can become evidence as proof of wrong doing, the more paperwork you can provide to a lawyer and then judge the better. If all else fails, if its a business that can incur you debt, find a lawyer and find out how to immediately sever all legal ties, if you had say credit cards together, and they go under, u are responsible, and creditors just pick a name and start going after payment, they dont ask who what or why, they take from who they can get money, like garnish your wages at a new job, for the wrong doings of the business. Study up on the laws of your state, do google searches like PA business legal problems, or keywords you find will help find possible discussions or text of any type to understand your situation. Find out legally what is your responsibility too. Sorry, very common problem.
