Hi guys, for a long time (maybe years) ive had a soft movable lump above my left ear. Its small, and it doesnt hurt when i touch it. I found another lump a little smaller than that above my right ear a short while back. Its also movable and doesnt hurt when i touch it. The strange thing is i found it just above my other ear, in nearly the same spot as the one on the left. im not worried about them, id just like to know what they might.

Any suggestion, would be appreciared
Thanks

So it's definitely above the ear? I ask because parotid tumors are usually alongside the ear near the face or just below. But if this is above the ear on your head that would not apply to these type of tumors.

im not really sure how to explain it. I wear glasses, and both lumps seem to be at the enRAB of 'ear hooks' (you know, the part that kinda benRAB around your ear, though mine dont bend around they go straight). the lump on the left has become very hard to find rescently, and the one on the right has been hurting ever since i started to poke at it. Like i said they are both very small, the lump on the right isnt even the size of a pea, and the one on the left is vertually unnoticable. i can only visit a doctor every now and then because i live in a rural town. Also, i dont know if age make any difference but im only a teenager. are there any other theories on what it may be, cos im a Hypochondriac and this freaks me out a bit.

also, i have a small TMJ problem

I just found another another lump behind my right ear, its behind it (like under the flap part) and its sore, its right beside the other lump aswell, im worried, but im also starting to think it may be a Lymph node, though im not sure.

kid,

Don't freak out, do research. You could research parotid tumors (their usually benign) and see if they look like what you have. If not, then you can research further. At your age they may be nothing but at least you could relieve your anxiety. Knowledge is power.

Best,

Jen
