Yeah... So I just bought the SLVR on Cricket the other day and I am trying to set up POP3 for my gmail account. I know the SLVR supports the function but I am finding that access to the messaging center menu has been removed under the stock cricket flash. I called CS to see if they had any insight. Of course the rep didn't even know what POP3 protocol was...
So have any of you had success getting POP3 set up on a SLVR on the Cricket network? The reps supervisor said that "they are working to support POP3 in the future" which doesn't make any sense at all. If I have "unlimited web access" then I should be able to set up POP3 and why is the menu disabled under the Cricket flash?
I've had Cricket for about 24 hours and that is the first big check against them. I really hope that I can find a way around this. I was super happy to hear that there was finally a provider willing to give service at a real price with no contract. Maybe I read too much into that.
