You slvr owners may cringe at the thought of dropping your precious candy bar on the floor. :eek: But, I personally have dropped mine 3 times straight to pavement and concrete from about 4 - 4.5 foot! It still works beautifully! It works the same as the day I bought it. The last drop really freaked me out when the battery door flew off into oblivion, but it snapped back on with no issues. Kudos to Motorola for building their phones like tanks. Just thought I would throw this out there...

Same on the RAZR. Dropped it plenty of times before i got a case and it's still working. (Still looks fine as well)
 
as is the blackberry pearl. i have gotten out of my lifted truck too many times with the phone on my lap... flying out into the parking lot or street... kinda like when i launched a k132 out of the box across one of my stores cause i didn't know they had no cover over the tray.
 
I had the slvr for a couple of months. Great phone. I sold more of those than any other model in the store. Why? Durability. I would throw my slvr across the store 5-10 times a day to illustrate it's toughness. Hitting the walls, the counter, chairs in the lobby, whatever. Worst that happened was the battery cover and battery popped off. Put it back together and turned it on.

Customers ate this up and I sold tons of them.
 
Amen.. My wife has dropped ours many times and the "worst" thing to happen was the back pops off.. no dents, scratches or anything to the housing.. I keep one of those Invisible Shield guarRAB on my screen & camera though, just to be extra safe. Those things work great.
