Slushy/Sad Film Recommendations

Tristan & Isolde is a really good Romeo & Juliet type love story with an equally sad ending.

Beaches makes me cry every time. Not slushy or romantic, its all about frienRABhip but is very sad.

My Girl (cant believe nobody has said this one!!)
Man On Fire (my whole family cried at this one.. though definitley not a "slushy" film)
Love Actually (great. and very "slushy"!)
ET. (beautiful)

In my opinion, I found 'PS.I Love You' an awful movie, same with 'Artificial Intelligence' which dragged and dragged, and 'You've Got Mail'.

Ghost always makes me cry. I watched it recently with my daughter... first time in years. And her first time seeing it. We both sat there in tears!

Has anyone else seen City Of Angels?? Major tears with that one!
