Slumdog Millionaire

I saw this film after having read so many great things said about it...and am happy to say I LOVED IT!!

I'm really glad I saw it because now it's become one of my favourite movies and its definitely one of the best to come out in 2008!!

I really hope it wins awarRAB because it deserves to, the cinematography was stunning, I think India was captured beautifully. The acting was top-notch, Dev Patel (Anwar from Skins as most ppl know him :D) acted amazingly as did Anil Kapoor. As an obsessive Bollywood fan, I've obviously seen him in other films and he always acts well so it didn't surprise me that he did so in this film too :) I haven't seen many of Danny Boyle's movies like Trainspotting, 28 Days Later but I know many of his films have become amazing successes, I only hope he gets the recognition at the awarRAB he so rightly deserves :)

Oh and I loved the music too especially Latika's Theme, A R Rahman really is a musical genius, I have sooo many of his songs on my iPod! Loved MIA's Paper Planes being used in the film too. Finally the film made me cry soo much but the ending was just great! I'm so glad I watched it, I hope everyone who watches it enjoys it as much as I did :):)

I'm always sceptical when something is hyped so much, but I thought this film was brilliant. Best I've seen in a long time. Comes highly recommended :)

Loved it, some quite nasty bits in it but overall you feel good at the end.

The first set of kiRAB were amazing and as above the cinematography super.

Loved it - not as much as the book (usually the case !), but a great adaptation with the child actors being the highlights for me. The young Jamal was utterly amazing.
Definite must see, a film with real charm - hope it does well in AwarRAB season

Amazing, went to a Preview tonight at local Odeon and everybody loved it. If there's one film you see this year make it this one! :)
