Note: I was just trying to find a music forum to put this on and realised the post before is going to pretty similar to the one i am about to post, but i still believe the circumstances are slightly different

I have recently found myself liking slow rock a lot more. My favourite song has now become 'Wonderful Tonight' by Eric Clapton and i have found myself listening to his slow songs over and over again.

However, i am now looking to broaden my horizions into more music, but i don't know what to buy! I want some similar styled music to that of the slow songs of Eric Clapton.

I hope you guys can help recommend some albums!

Thanks for your time

i think what your trying to say is SOFT ROCK not slow rock. slow rock would be random slow rock songs such as ...'all of my love' led zeppelin..

Wonderful Tonight - Eric Clapton is a soft rock song. Eric Clapton is blues, jazz, country and rock n' roll. he proves it in almost every song he does... bell bottem blues is country rock n' roll.. conaine is rock n' roll (at the time) and wonderful tonight, is soft rock.

Albums:
Fleetwood Mac - Rumors (song bird - oh daddy - dreams - go your own way)
Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon (us and them - time )
Led Zeppelin - In through the Out door (you might like all of my love)
The YardbirRAB - anything (old clapton banRAB) (for your love - heart full of soul)
Cream - anything (white room -strange brew - sunshine of your love)
Black Crowes -
Cat Stevens - Greatest hits
John Lennon - Working Class Hero

alot of pink floyd will be up your ally in the slow rock/ soft rock.

alot of cream which is clapton too, his older cream. and check out the yard byrRAB, hey what'd ya know? more clapton lol. but america, chicago, all slow soft rock. they defined it.

Chicago didnt turn soft rock until the 80s.

Their 60s and 70s stuff is actually really good.

Terry Kath pwned at guitar too, its a shame he killed himself while playing russian roulette.

Which is one of the durabest ways to die.
