I've noticed that sometimes when I get anxious instead of my heart racing, it beats about 60 beats per minute which I think is odd. My doctor is sending me to a cardiologist to make sure I don't have any arrythmeias so now I'm panicking that there is something seriously wrong. Does this ever happen to anyone? It's like my head is having a panic attack, but my heart and my body slow down to accomodate for it. Sometimes it feels like its beating hard and slow at the same time and I get some pressure too. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thank you :-)

A normal heart rate is between 60-100 bpm. If you are at 60 bpm that in itself does not seem to be a cause for alarm, although I am not a doctor. See the cardiologist and if they don't find anything wrong, rest assured that it is a perfectly normal beat.

I hope that helps, and that the cardiologist is able to answer your questions.

Pausa,

I get the same exact symptoms as you. Its like I'm having a panic attack, but my heart rate doesn't go up. It stays at 60 or so. It seems very low, and I've posted on here about it before, without any response. Its nice to know somebody else has the same symptom. Did you go to your cardiologist? What was the outcome? Good luck to you.
