Slipper N73 Joystick? Here's a SOLUTION!

If I told you to put a condom on your phone because it improves battery life, though I've never tried it, would you do it?

Show us the pics of your mod and maybe we'll give it a shot...if you also show us that everything still works in another month.
 
Fo' real. I just read this entire thread looking for non-existent photos of this alleged solution. I'll bet I can get the little rubber, apply it and post photos long before fs???? ever does.

The round rubber washer gives a good grip, lettin u move in all directions without slippage

Tell me why it wouldnt work instead of talking about condoms improving battery life, try to work with me here, not against me..i have an n73 too mah friend
 
Not only that, but he popped back in to say how ugly someone ELSE'S mod is .

I've given up on the N73's joystick. Mine's already sold off and I don't think I'll buy another one no matter how much better the design has been improved with hardware fixes.
 
has anyone heard of the spray on condom? a spray which sprays out liquid rubber which hardens after some time?
i think tats the best solution for u guys...spray it on the joystick
 
What we need is for Nokia to do phone transplant on the N73 and move it over to the E50. The E50's joystick is by far the best and the whole phone is as solid as a phone I've ever owned.
 
Yeah, but what about those tiny-looking 'C', pencil, red and green buttons ?
The only thing it has above S6O-2 8x phones is 320 display, 70 MB storage and an 1150 MaH battery.
No 3G, no WiFi and it's S60-3 ... so no software.
All I can think is it must be cheap.
Go on, tell me it's cheap.
 
Not sure what you're blabbing about? What I tried to say is the construction of the E50 is very solid and that Nokia should have made the N73 in the same manner.

And no, the E50 is not cheap by any means price or otherwise.
 
He's right, the E50 is solid.

But the N73 is as solid lol, has alot better specs/features, and both are not cheap. Both are Nokia phones and compare alot better than other phons out there. If you mean cheap by price, we all know the E50 is half of the cost of an N73 these days
 
thats how my n73 roll its one of those big boys and i just the phone. i should of read a little more now i can't even go through the menu w/o my thumb slipping and go into something else, and i keep running out of memory when im online grr...k790 here i come
