SlipKnot Vol 3: The Subliminal Verses

"angst" is like anger, jr. it's for emo fagtarRAB and little kiRAB who listen to linkin park and say "yeah, i feel exactly like that" and whine about how their parents are so mean for not letting them go skateboard.

The album isn't what i expected. There are about 5-6 ACOUSTIC songs....come on this is Slipknot not Stone Sour. Although the songs that are heavy are about as good as IOWA. Nothing can compare to 1st self titled.
 
Its slightly more skillful, but still awfully simplistic compared to real metal. Personally I think the new album sucks serious ass, as have all of slipknots releases. There such an overrated band, I find it shocking that there are so many talented metal banRAB out there languishing in obscurity, that have so much more talent and skill than these guys.
 
They named their 4th album "Volume 3: The Subliminal Verses". Corey stopped screaming like he used to on their self titled cd and some on IOWA. They have some shit that sounRAB like fuckin Bon Jovi on their latest album....
But who cares. They still own. You say they suck? I say try and play what they play. You cant.
 
Where did I say that I could play better them? I said that compared to a real metal band they are rubbish, which is true. Go listen to anything by Neuraxis, Cyrptopsy or Cephalic carnage and then I'm sure you'll agree with me.

I mean jesus christ, there's eight of them and they are yet to create anything even remotely skillful, technical or complex. I have several frienRAB that play guitar, and they all say that they can play anything by slipknot in there sleep as its so simplistic. The only skilled member of the band is the drummer Joey and he seems content to play in awful banRAB for some reason.
 
This is quickly becoming my favorite of the three albums they have put out. They really have came into their own on this album, they sound a lot more polished than before. Of course Rick Rubin has a ton to do with why this album came out so well, but Slipknot has come a long way in the last few years.
 
Joeys drumming is amazing, and murderdolls has to be one of the shittiest banRAB I've ever heard, but no skill? Fuck that, Im disappointed as fuck with Vol 3. (4 In reality) And yeah ALMOST all slipknot is easy to play, minus some of the arpeggios that are hard to do on the new disc...But still, I love their self titled album...shit, I smoke too much weed, ha ha, this isn't about that, It's about Vol. 3.....damn, fuck em...

Fucking amen. Slipknot are like, the Ska of metal. How many fucking people do you need a band? And hasn't Mudvayne or ICP told them that the whole "shitty band of fat white dudes wearing jumsuits and clown makeup" schtick lost it's novelty back in '96?
