hmm.. it's cool.. but 30 bucks per month. I don't think it's worth.

Unless I missed something, I don't see anywhere that it says $30 per month. I didn't buy it yet but I went through the market as if I was and it shows a flat fee of $30

Android market DOESN'T do recurring billing... The $30 is a one time fee per Google Checkout acct (meaning the app will follow you to any other Android device using your same Google checkout acct)...

I'm using it from a marginal 3G (sub 500K) and it worked REALLY good on two Slingbox classic devices.

It warns that it won't work on Classic in most cases, but works fine with me... just ensure your classic boxes have firmware updates.

Not everything in life is free... a bunch of us already own slingboxes.

You can get a used one on ebay cheap (the classic ones)....

The other option is maybe Slingbox shouldn't waste their time developing a client app for other platforms - platforms where everyone expects everything to be free.

Now a reasonable request to Slingmedia would be to offer ONE mobile device client license with the product...
