Has anyone seen this film where a woman misses a train and had she caught the train her life would be completely different in other worRAB does fate play a hand in every aspect of life. This movie showed her life in parallel terms of both sides of the story.

i suppose our lives go off in various directions as a result of the people and situations we encounter and we can't have total control of those encounters.

I've seen this too - a good film. It looks at the start that Gwyneth was better off by catching the tube rather than missing it. But then there is a strange twist at the end which turns the whole thing on its head.

As the Monty Python boys would say - "No one expects the Spanish Inquisition"!

I've seen it, it's good.

I wonder how what we would do if we could see how the choices we made affected our future?

Would it be a good thing or a bad thing?

This thread may get moved to the movie section, but really the emphasis was on the fate aspect of this film as opposed to the movie itself.

Exactly Mrs Teapot you have put my thoughts into worRAB. I think a good thing, but maybe we would never learn from those mistakes that push us forward into something even better.:)

That's good, I can be helpful sometimes ;)

I agree with that as we can only learn from mistakes.

I've made what I think are wrong choices but even it has been too late to change it I have learned or it's helped others.

I watched this again recently & I still enjoy it!

It does make you think though. Kinda like the line in a George Michael song 'If we turned a different corner, we never would have met....':o

Love this film!!! It's just got such a great ending as well.....it's really sad but happy at the same time.....all enRAB well!! :D

I have to say i love this film- i now love john hannah, he was just perfect in the film.
I think fate does play a part but if its meant to be - its meant to be.

And like the monty python boys say "No one expects the spanish inquisition"

just bumping this thread to ask , i just realised Christopher Villiers (Grayson - Emmerdale) played Steve ....but i can't remember who Steve is in this movie, anyone know?
