Sleep twitch

this has been happening for quite a while now I get this every month or so. while I'm sleeping. I get the jolt of energy going through my body and it's like electrical shock and it sometimes scare.and I'm not dreaming and sometimes it happens while fully conscious. If I am sleeping this twitch will always wake me up. Has this ever happened to anyone please share your story.

They're called hypnic jerks, they're common and normal.

I get them from time to time, it's certainly a rude awakening! :p
