Sleep problems...

So this isn't the first time depression has messed with my sleeping habits... I am SO tired... and yet for the last week, I've been sleeping in and missing school completely. I feel like crap because I can't wake up. I don't even remember turning off my alarms. All six of them.
I'm GUESSING that my being depressed lately has influenced this.
All I know for sure now is that I have to work till close today and I'm totally not feeling up to it.

I guess going to sleep earlier wouldn't help if you have no chance of waking up, maybe get someone to wake you up in the morning. Are you really depressed? Maybe you should seek some help if you haven't already. See if the doctor can link the depression to your sleep habits and find a solution.

Hope you get better sleep soon.

You and I are on the same page, pal.
My entire life is off the clock because I can't get my ass outta bed in the morning. I have, literally, three alarms going off, and it still doesn't help. I wake up in the late afternoon, and go to sleep so late, it's early. :happysad:
I don't have too many obligations, so I guess it's not all that bad, but as for you I suggest seeing your doctor. Or buying some sleeping pills. You know, whatever costs less. :D

I've been through this. Bipolar disorder is a bitch.

In order to reset yourself, you need to do the following:

1. Go out and buy some Benadryl. Benadryl is also used as an over the counter sleep aid. Take four of them at a reasonable time, namely 10PM. Yes, it's a double dose. No, you won't be hurt. The recommended dosage is two pills due to drowsiness, not harm.

2. Repeat the process for a few days. Continue until you begin to feel naturally tired at, or around, 10PM.

3. When you feel naturally tired, hit the hay. Your body clock has been sucessfully reset and you can now go about with life, and think more rationally as well!

I have bipolar disorder worse than anyone else you'll ever know, be it real life or over the Internet. I'm very good at dealing with depression.
