sleep positions L1 fracture

hi there

i have a fractured L1 and hate to sleep on my back. does anyone know if it's safe to sleep on your side with this injury?

I'm sorry that I do not know the answer to your question, but I did want to welcome you to the board. In general, sleeping on one's side, with appropriate pillow support between the knees is the desired sleeping position for most spine situations. But whether a fracture at L1 is precluded from this, I do not know. Please call your doctor's office for official medical advice!
