Hahahaha, my good sir this made my day. But it is established NOT encouraged, its not like Christ went around holding a bunch of slaves with him nope. It's just how it was during his time (before human equality). And yes many civilisations did hold slaves but it doesn't mean we should have them. This is why many European Countries were involved in the Slave Trade because of those verses and look what happened.

Human Rights MUST be encouraged or we would wind up in the middle ages again
 
People have used the Bible to justify slavery, but that's not God's fault. You have to understand something- in Biblical times, slavery was quite different than it is today. It wasn't based on race. Whenever slavery has been based upon race, it has ended. God doesn't approve of race based slavery, and neither do I. Many slaves in the Bible were actually indentured servants. The Bible doesn't condemn slavery, but it doesn't endorse it, either.
