Hello

I have SL45, upgraded to v56 firmware, have done many many modifications from the sticky posts, and now arrive at a problem: sometimes the batter is only one point short of full, and it displayes a low battery message and shuts off.

I did some search on this forum, found out a lot of information, but still I am creating this post. I need help of you guys to tell me in simple words how to fix this problem. All the info I found was so scattered that I couldnt make anything out of it.

How to recaliberate battery? How to define settings, what software to use for defining settings, what are the best settings? where to get the software, etc etc? what if something goes wrong, how to revert, etc?

Thank you folks.

Do you have a backup of your firmware before you updated to v56?
If yes then just write the EEProm area back to your phone and everthing should be okay...

For calibrating battery use sensortool - google for it But keep away from blks (blks are files were the battery data is stored) from other people in 99% of cases they don't fit for your phone - every phone gots it unique sensor settings

Ok I have downloaded the Sensor Tool. But its pretty much complicated. I mean how to set the values ? Will I have to do experiments to figure out the best value?

Yes there a methods to recalibrate sensor settings but I don't know how to do (it has something to do with full charging battery, measure the volts, and then measure again battery when phone switches off - Write the values into Sensortool calculator and you've calibrated your phone....) . Best way is to use your original settings, which are stored in EEProm
