If you are a Verizon customer with a smartphone, good news is that Verizon is bringing Skype calling to anyone who owns a 3G smartphone this March.
Verizon customers will be able to not only make unlimited calls but also receive them with Skype to Skype voice calls if they have a data plan. With the Skype app, Verizon customers can chat with other Skype users by instant messaging.
The Verizon 3G smartphones that will be compatible with the Skype mobile app are the ones that Verizon has that are considered "best selling" which includes: Motorola Droid, HTC Droid Eris, Motorola Devour, BkackBerry Storm2 9550, BlackBerry Storm 9530, BlackBerry Tour 9630, BlackBerry Curve 8530, BlackBerry Curve 8330 and BlackBerry 8830 World Edition.
