Sky Films

And also they are dedicated movie channels. They have more license to show repeats than other broaadcasters, well excluding ITV2 ;)

Also, not everybody sits down to watch a film at the same time. If a film I want to watch is on tonight clashes with the footy then I can catch it tomorrow, next week, next month etc.

I don't mind the repeat showings. Don't have time to watch everything in first run. It doesn't look good that they now only offer 5 new movies a week instead of 30-40 a month that they did a decade ago. The themed channels are pretty good though they could widen the repertoire of Indie & Classics.

If you have Sky+ then you're rarely going to watch a film at exactly the time it's scheduled. So what happens is that you find that a film you watched on Sky+ on a Tuesday afternoon a while back is now being shown again - on a Tuesday afternoon.

I've just got it back, as they offered me it half price for 6 months when I was going to leave them.

It's good to have it back. Today I enjoyed watching Sofia Coppolla die in Godfather III. Best laugh I've had in ages.

I sometimes can't be bothered with films, I get itchy feet and wander off into dreamworld :)

Why are our lives so detemined by TV?

Edit

Mine is not, I live away from TV;)
