Skin Culture Peel

Has anyone used the skin culture peel system? Did it seem to help for acne scars and hyperpigmentation? I haven't seen any info here about it.
 
I have heard MANY negative things about those peels. People have reported additional scarring due to them. These are serious peels!!! I would not recommend them.

I have done one before, I got the 4000 peel. It worked really well!! I haven't heard anything bad about them myself. But it took all my old acne marks away that I couldn't get rid of. I have to say I loved the peel, because no other peels I tried were deep enough to get those marks gone. It's very expensive though, so if you're willing to try it out for that price, then do it. It doesn't prevent acne or anything though, so if you're prone to getting breakouts still, then don't expect it to cure them. It just worked wonders for my red marks! I'd do it again and again if I could afford it!!
 
Thanks for the info Bev! I ordered the Skin Peel 3000. I should be getting it soon. During the peeling process did you avoid going out? I work M-F so I'm not sure when I should start it. Any info would be great! Thanks :)
 
No problem!! I did avoid going out, because it leaves your face tinted brown after you take it off, and it gets a little darker after each peel. So it looks like you're wearing a mud mask almost. Then when it starts to peel you'll look like an old grandma lol, however since you're doing the 3000 peel..it might not be as intense. Just remeraber not to pick at the peeling and let it fall off by itself. Maybe that's why people complained about scarring, they probably picked it off. It goes away quickly though, but you'd want to stay inside for the recommended amount of time, I think it's 6 days or something. Maybe you could call in sick or make something brilliant up. lol. Can you please write your experience with the peel when you get it done? I have scars and NEED to get rid of them!! Can your tell us how much and if you liked it or not? If it hurt? If you think it works and so on?
