Im in a very peculiar and sticky situation so ill explain it as best i can.
Im a british citizen. I got a job in falls creek (yay), my current travel insurer wont provide
ski cover for the length of time i require.
I cant sign up to any other UK based travel insurers because im not currently in the UK.
I cant sign up with medicare even with the reciprocal agreement they have with the UK
(they dont classify me as a UK resident because i was only there for a month before i came here VERY ANNOYING)
So I need some sort of cover or policy that as a NONRESIDENT i can get here in OZ.
That will give me peace of mind just in case something should happen to me on the mountain. So that im covered for being dragged off the mountain ( i heard that might be alright because thats covered with my ski pass or something???), getting to a hospital by ambulance or whatever transport AND for hospital bills.
Any help would be so much appreciated >.<
