Awww, your Jake Ryan sounds awesome!

That part with the reveal of him standing by his car always gets me too. Every time I watch it, it's like seeing it for the first time.

I had a Jake Ryan but not in HS. He lived in the next street, still does. ;) And he's still absolutely drop dead gorgeous and charming. Whenever I see him, my heart goes crazy.

Oh, same here! When he's shown next to the car, I always gasp like I didn't know he was going to be there! :sigh:

 That was a great scene.

I've been meaning to watch this movie again for a long time, but I keep getting distracted by being on the internet all the time. Guess I'll have to remedy that.

heyyyyyyyyyyyyy
if you're goin to make a list please add me.
i'm an 80's addicted and i love john hughes movies and molly and this one is my favvvvvvvvvvvv

not to mention that my name is Samantha,so she is my heroine :D

I think I could just hear that song that they play on the end (I have no idea what the name of it is, bad me  ) and I would have the sappiest grin on my face. Don't even have to be watching the movie, if I just heard it on the radio it would happen.

Awww, I was going to ask if you got it at Hot Topic, cuz that is the kind of things that place has, I love that!

Really? Yeah, he's (Long Duk Dong) still drunk so he jumps on Jake in a sexual advance thinking it's the tall girl. Needless to say Jake hits him but there's no rancor, or anything like that. Very funny - I'm telling you, Gedde Watanabe is the best! :D

How about when he took her over to his two geeky friends, and they start a debate about how black and white film would just capture the moment so much better. :lmao: That's absolutely priceless.

I'm editing this message because I was thinking about Pretty in Pink. Silly me.

Anyway, now Sixteen Candles did have a great ending! :sigh:

I'm sorry I have to bump this tread we can't have this on 4th page! :bump: Not fourth!!

I actually just watched this movie again and I have to say one of my favourite scenes was her on the bus with "The Geek" I thought that was hilarious

This is one of the best 80's movies ever. I love it! I watch it all the time. Molly Ringwald was such a good actress back then. And I hear that they are actually making a sequel to it.
