Since the media will not factcheck Obama's speech, should we believe Rumsfeld?

This is the former secretary's response to the Obama speech last night.

Should we believe the man responsible for responding to such requests the president mentioned during the time the president mentioned or should we listen to the president who has basically not fulfilled a single campaign promise since taking office?
So Sugar, my question was basically asking you to tell me who we should believe by telling me who you believe.

Rumsfeld threw down the gauntlet. He said, "show me ANY request for more troops in Afghanistan that we didn't respond to....". He's calling Obama out, and calling Obama's bluff.

The Obama White House has been very quick to respond to Dick Cheney's comments. The longer they fail to respond to Rumsfeld, the more certain it is that Obama was mindlessly bashing Bush again. With lies. Again.
