Since government is taking over failed banks why not take over GM?

Maybe Obama will nationalize Exxon and the rest like Maxine Waters suggested months ago. That will make things nice real fast.
Isn't it about time to take the bull by the horns and stop the pretense? With filabuster-proof congress and Obama, finally, government can stop the bleeding and create a great society, a new deal, progress and equality?

What you are describing is called Fascism, a close relative of Communism. Just one more thing to dilute our freedoms.

The only thing government creates is more problems. That's why socialism has never worked anywhere and no "great societies" have ever been created.
