Shouldnt we modify them to fit our non asian body types or develop more of our own body types?
And the weapons too? How could we change them to fit black and white people and stuff like that?
Who said asians weren't muscular? race is not skin deep. Environment didnt change only our skin. Whos being ignorant now? How about you just assume I know what Im talking about and give me an answer to my question?
Boxing is different, you dont need anything but arms and legs you can stand on to box, legs and flexibility and styles and technique arent really limiting factors there.

It doesnt matter how or why they were developed read the question.

You miss the point all together. The traditional martial arts were designed from the beginning to be able to be modified as they are being used. No changes need to be made. Besides you are still thinking about small Asians using the arts against non Asians that are bigger. If you had though before posting you would realize that most of the people here are non Asians that will be using their skills against other non Asians. In an case it does not matter all good traditional arts teach not only the techniques, but any modifications that might need to be used. A good example is a short person trying to do a throw on a very tall attacker. We were taught that if the attacker was a lot taller or a lot shorter that if we dropped to one knee as we did the throw, it would compensate for the difference in height.
