Sin City

Anyone want any info and behind the scenes info..check out Bruce Willis' website.

He writes on there himself and tells people lots of interesting stuff you don't get to read in the papers, about his filming and the like. Plus there are great photos and clips.

Plus there is a forum that has a whole bit devoted to Sin City so you may get your answers there, as there are alot of UK fans on the site.

It's a really good site, and you might even get to chat to the man himself. :)

I felt that the colour theme borrowed heavily from Schindler's List (the girl in the red coat, anyone?

But wow, yeah it was a great film. Looking back I should have known which scene was Tarantino...

Couple of plot questions... Who was Josh Hartnett's character?

And...
At the end, bruce willis's character and jessica alba's character escape from the farm. I know it's probably not chronological but why was Elijah Wood's character still alive? (He was eaten by dogs in an earlier scene)

It would have been good if...
At the end, in a dual timeline, the farm had blown up as a result of the ugly man's actions...

Just an idea...

Again, the style was lifted straight out of Miller's books. There wasn't really any other way about it. There's lenty of coincidental uses of colour in other films, mainly used for a purpose. In Sin City, they were used because that's just how it is in Sin City, the literature.

the hartigan bit was before kevin got eaten, because the farm was still there but we see it blow up. also marv goes and sees that nancy dancing before hartigan goes to see her. after that he starts going on his rampage. by the time he is finished hartigan who went straight there with nancy (i think) so he would of got there before then. either that or it is to show that kevin is invincible which i doubt because if he was then the barn wouldn't of been there. hope this helps.
