Sims 3 "talk about gardening"?

One of my sims wants is to talk with someone about gardening but when I clip on another sim there is no option for that. I tried having him tutor someone but it didn't work, should I try that again or what?? Thanks!
Hey kid- why not grow up! i live life, how else do i have a 1 month old in my arms and a 2 1/2 year old in the room! duh! anyways....

If your Sim has the Green Thumb trait then the option to talk about gardening may be under the 'Special' option.

I mean, when you click on the other Sim you can choose how you want to interact with them - I found 'talk about gardening' under 'Special'.

I also found it under 'Friendly' but I had to 'chat' a bit generally & 'get to know' the other Sim a little more before it came up.
