Sims 2 flashing Ground?

Sometimes when I'm playing sims 2 (PC) the ground flashing red and black and its getting really annoying is this a glitch if not, how do i turn it off?
 
Mmk, well, if you're using any cheats, turn them off to see if that helps.
Also, do you have any custom content? If so, that could be causing the flashing. If you go to http://www.modthesims.info/ they have some information on flashing objects. Look in the help section.
