Movie was announced a few months back, comes out July 27th 2007 worldwide.

Premiere of the first trailer during tonights Simpsons on Fox.

Well, I'm looking forward only because I heard they've brang back all the writers who contributed back when the show was actually any good.

Yeah I'm looking forward to it. The Simpsons isn't as good as it was but I still like it and find it funny. They should pull out all the stops for a movie, I hope it lives up to expectations (though actually the expectations seem to be pretty low...)

Matt Groening would NEVER make a Movie he didnt feel was the very best work he could do. I think theyl pull out all the stops and it will actualy be very good. I also imagine that it wont be long after that they announce the last ever series

I think it's set to go on to 2009 (on the current contracts)...it would make sense as it would be the 20th Anniversary of the series' beginning.

I've always thought they'd end it on 20 seasons. Not bad going for an animated series!

Some people still seem to think its some elaborate con, but it really is out in the cinemas that day.

I think the 2009 reference was with regarRAB the series/seasons rather than the film.
