I have never read a Simpsons comic, I should start reading them.

Do they follow the show or do they have different plots?

Oh man, I was at the check out at my local grocery store (an itty bitty store) and I saw Simpsons comics under the express checkout! I was shocked! Too shy to look at them though cos they're RIGHT infront of the cashier. I literally only saw them as I was giving her my money.

Have you ever just bought a comic by itself? Or do you try to add other items so it doesn't look like you're just there to buy a comic? Whenever I try to buy one alone, the cashier looks up and smiles, like they've caught me with a Playgirl or something. They make me feel normal if I add a book or two with the purchase.
