I ordered a Canon EOS 500D off Simply Electronics on the 19th of October. It did not arrive within the promised 3-6 days wait.
I contacted the manager about it and she dispatched my order on the 4th of November, Thursday and it is being shipped via DHL SE Single European, and she told me I should expect it early this week. It arrived in Dublin sort facility the following day, all was going well. Come Monday, the estimated delivery date, my parcel is not here yet. It wasn't here Tuesday either, so I wrote to the manager, Vanessa, complaining it wasn't here yet. She told me she raised a ticket with Simply Electronics' DHL account manager to investigate information further, and will contact me when there's news. Now it's Wednesday, and my camera's it's still not here. So I phoned DHL, told them my parcel wasn't here yet, they took my number and said will call me back with my tracking information tomorrow.
I've contacted both DHL and Simply Electronics loads of times but they haven't been very helpful or useful. I'm really unhappy with both services, seeing as the camera was supposed to be here by my birthday..(28th of October). I don't know what to do now to make the parcel arrive quicker, I need it by the end of this week, anyone ever bought from Simply Electronics or have any idea how I can deal with this issue (besides contacting them again)?
Help would really be appreciated, 10 points for a useful answer.
