Simple Utorrent Question...

Ok, I have a 30mb Download connection via Comcast.

Now why is it that everything I download max's out at 2.5mbps???

Even if the file has 500 Seeds with 5 Leechers, I still get 2.5mbps max!

Is there a setting on Utorrent I am overlooking? Is it set to 2.5 and I need to increase it?

Yes, I have Values set as Unlimited.

You have a 30 mbit connection.

1 byte = 8 bits

is it 30mbps or 20mbps though? 2.5MB/s connection translates to 20mbps

Doesn't really suck, great speed.

If I'm not mistaken 30 mb is 3.75 MB/s, but if you're getting lower speeds it may be your coverage area that is having issues, or they may be throttling you.

I wasn't being specific, I think I have reached 3+mbps at some points...

So I guess it makes sense.
