Sim Card Information

Hello, I'm new here (lol, obviously), and I've recently purchased a used, unlocked BB7230 (it was T-mobile before being unlocked). I currently have a Razr V3 as well (got it with my plan). I was wondering, if I copied my sim information to my Razr, the stuck my original sim in my black berry, got a separate sim card and stuck it in my razr and copied the information to my sim card, would I be able to send/receive calls on both phones?

Anyway, it doesn't seem like I would, but at the same time it makes sense that it could happen.

No you couldn't. Each sim card has it's own serial number. One phone number cannot physically have two different sim cards assigned to it.

But I could still keep the extra sim card to keep a backup of my address book, correct?

Yes, that you could do and it isn't a bad idea. As long as it is a new/never activated sim you could transfer your account to it if something happens to your old sim.
