Silver dicso balls in York Minster, PA / Sound systems, disco lights.
Went to York last week from work.
Early finish, so did a few of the sites.
York Minster was being set up for a mega party !!!!!!
Massive sound systems, disco lights, stage, pews all gone, even silver disco balls suspened from the highest part of the roof. Took phots to prove it !!
Looked like a scene from Saturday Night Fever !!
The big 'hall' in the middle, was being set up with dozens of tables, loads of food & wine, no expense spared jobbie.
I went to look at the building itself- which is just fab - not for the religious aspects.
But wot was going on ?
