silent profile shortcut in IE

So I just changed my N73 firmware to IE V 3.0638.0.0.43
And previously in my plain jane N73, holding the # would activate the silent profile. It doesn't do that anymore. Anyone know of another shortcut or am I outta luck?
 
Does it change it to any other profile? If it does then change that profile to Silent if that's what you want and change your old silent profile to the other one. If the function doesn't work at all then I have no other ideas for you. I use that shortcut everyday, it's great.
 
K i pressed it for longer and it prompt comes up asking me if I want to change my outgoing phone line?!?! wtf

And pressing the power button then the silent is what i want to avoid, hence the word "shortcut". anyways its pretty odd, oh well....
 
My buddy has what looks like the n73 IE version, with the most recent firmware. Unlike my plain vanila N73, which has gone from version 2.xxxx to 3.xxxxx, his # key does not change b/w the first two profiles. I believe that's just how that firmware is.
 
Yes IE firmware on the N73 disables this function as its replaced by the line 2 options available in Taiwan and Hong Kong which the firmware currently only supports. If the firmware ever changes region other then these 2 most likely the option will return.
