silent mode in n73 problem

hey guys, i use the silent mode a lot and noticed something peculiar on the active display... normally in general mode on the top right corner it shows the date however in silent mode it says silent in the same place and i cannot see the date, i have the n73 me, so can u guys tell me how to get it there

I'm also curious if there's a way to display the date there. It worked the same way on my 6620, so I kind of doubt it..

Cannot do it. That is the way it is and that cannot be changed. Date will only appear when the GENERAL profile is selected. Any other profile will hide the date and display the profile name instead.

put silent settings in general settings since you use it a lot and you will have your date

lol, yeah could do that, but weird that nokia hasnt tried to fix this or something if it is even a bug

its just how the phone software is set up. if anything, just let it go to the screensaver and it will show it

yeah, i know about the screen saver, but its just that when im using the phone and need to find the date, im a student so i use it frequently, i just couldnt find it, so no solutions i guess

They already gave you a solution. Adjust the General profile to match the Silent profile. Create another profile called General1 or something, with the same settings as the original General profile.
