In October of 2008, I had what they thought was a stroke. I had the CT Scan, and it didn't show a stroke, but an aneurysm. I was sent to a neurologist, and he did an angiogram (oh, yeah, that's probably spelled wrong). He found ANOTHER aneurysm on the same blood vessel. Did I mention that these were brain aneurysms? SO, on Dec 15th 2008 I had them clamped. I kept having what they thought were TIA's, and I asked my ER doctor how much longer I was going to keep having these. He told me not too much longer, they way I smoke, one would kill me before long. So I quit while taking Chantix, and that was April of last year. Anyhoo, now they have decided that these weren't TIA's , they are silent migraines. But I have gained 40 lbs that I can't lose, and have numbness on the left side of my body, tingling in my face on the left side, and always sleepy, no interests except how I can go to sleep, and always crazy feeling. Not really clear, but are these silent migraines, or thyroid brain fogs? I also have the Aura's, seeing things out of my right eye but not my left. I feel like I am going crazy. The neuro surgeon that did the surgery said that the aneurysms weren't big enough to cause any problems. Just clamped them before they became a problem. Help me, y'all!
