i have a nextel and i am wondering if anyone knows the code that is used to be able to bounce off of all the towers to make the signal strength stronger. this also allows the calls to not be dropped.

start by pressing #,*,menu, right arrow quickly. From there scroll down to ERR/channel: switch it to on. That Will allow you to use the satelite and get a signal almost anywhere.

THIS DOES NOT WORK !!!!
the err/channel has nothing to do with any of the things people claim it does ... all it does is put the phone ito a diagnostic mode and flashes the tower number at the top of the phone that you are currently accessing ... it changes nothing in reception nor does it allow you to track people or dial pluto or whatever this week's claim is ... we need to make a sticky on this
