Sidekick lx plz help again?

so i bought a sidekick from ebay i put my sim in it then it says

" Network data services are currently unavailable . Ether your GPRS APN setting is incorrect or you account is not configured for GPRS. "

i never had a sidekick so wat does this mean wat can i do to use the internet plz help
