Sidekick LX Battery Question?

I'm buying a new sidekick (sidekick lx 2009), but i want to get all my stuff off my old one (sidekick lx 2007) and transfer it to the new one. The place in my sidekick lx 2007 where you plug in your phone is completely broken. Is this battery for the sidekick lx 2009 the same for the one in the sidekick lx 2007? Because then ill just use that battery when i get my new phone to transfer everything off. If not, ill probably have to find someone with a sidekick lx 2007 and get them to let me borrow their battery. -_-

Will the battery fit???
