My friend has a sidekick lx that he traded with his friend. his sidekick lx (2007 version) doesnt have the data plan, but he is still able to get text alerts on time and send and recieve picture messages. i asked how come my phone couldnt do that. all he said was his friend he traded with "did something" with the phone. anybody know what this is? (he also doesnt lose any of his contacts)
NOTE: i have the sidekick 2008 without a data plan as well.
