Sick of Will Smith and I, Robot/I Am Legend/Hancock -type films he keeps churning out

No doubt we only have to wait a few months for "I, Robot 2" or something like that.

Can't he do something original for a change, or are action hero cash-in films all he is good at?
 
I actually usually enjoy Will Smith movies. Really liked I, Robot, and am looking forward to Hancock. I can't bring myself to watch I am Legend though, because of the dog. :(
 
I disagree. I, for one, will forever remember him as the big-eared guy whose ridiculous rap song with his son provided the inspiration for the Dr Evil/Mini-Me parody in one of the Austin Powers films.
 
Yeah they are totally different films which I enjoyed. I just think some people have a general dislike of Will Smith and anything he does!
 
I agree, different films. I,Robot, killing crazy robots, I Am Legend, last man on earth killing crazy vampire things, and Hancock, a bum for a superhero.

I actually like Will Smith's films. The Pursuit Of Happiness, Ali, Men In Black, Independence Day, Hitch, Bad Boys, Enemy Of The State...a pretty wide range of movies to me. Although, recently I have been a bit disappointed. I didn't think I Am Legend was as good as it could have been. However, Will Smith is still one of my all time favourite performers and actors actors of all time, all the way from the Fresh Prince days with Summertime all the way to Hollywood megastar. The more successful he gets he doesn't ever let it go to his head and seems like a really nice down to earth guy who is not always trying to get in the news.

Anyway, I enjoyed I, Robot. I am Legend was rubbish. Yet to see Hancock.
 
I Robot was a very interesting film that was well done.

I Am Legend wasn't as good but there are few actors who I think could have held the film like Smith did.

Hancock looks like an interesting take on the genre.

I wouldn't exactly say I'm a massive Will Smith fan but of the films of his I have seen there's very few I've found reason to dislike. He's done so very good projects over the years.
 
If your going to have a moan about an actor, I would chose another actor.

Will Smith is an awesome actor. Does a wide range of movies, Ali, Pursuit of Happyness.

Hancock is nothing like I am Legend or I, Robot.

Will smith never gives a bad performance, always appears to be very nice and friendly, and often stars in great movies.

Get over yourself!
