I just moved out on my own a few weeks ago, and I'm first year uni,

I'm sooo sick of cooking.... it's the same everyday, get up eat breakfast requires work] then work then make lunch then more work then the struggle of cooking dinner. Even salad is tiresome, all that chopping !

I don't even feel like cooking for a week, ....

Help!
That would out my age at 18... cooking everday =/
I've had takeout at least 5 times this month...

Pot noodles?...they come in all different flavours ;)
also you can buy ready made hot chicken..like from supermarkets, its really nice...
i dont know really.
lazy child heheh ;) im exactly the same

or peel some potatoes and cut them up and fry them to make chips..

Well you have 3 options:

1. Get rich and hire a personal chef.

2. Start buying fast microwave meals which are very bad for you.

3. Step up to your new adult role, accept your mum's not there anymore to feed you and just get on with it.

If you have a freezer, batch cook and freeze the extra portions individually. Eat more sandwiches and soups. Buy stir-fry packs from the supermarket, they're healthy and very easy and quick to cook. Hmm can't think of much else at the moment.

Well what do you want, me to come cook for you? I could if needed. Tired of making things then just buy TV dinners or pot pies. I love my deep fryer, turn it on and after its hot, throw in fries or cheese sticks, chicken strips, they cook on their own in 3 mins and all you have to do is let the fryer cool down and throw away your paper plate.

The other ideas are great, just one more to add to the pot...

When you do feel like cooking, bake up some casseroles, prep hamburger patties, etc. and freeze them. Then, when you don't, you have good food ready to throw in the oven.

You may also want to invest in a slow cooker...you throw a few items in in the morning and when you get home, all done. Quick and easy.

Hope this helps!
