Pettibon was never really an official meraber of Black Flag, he just did the artwork & filled in on bass before anyone of merit stepped in during the early years.

A new discovery today:

Smoking Popes - Band's core consisted of brothers Josh, Eli and Matt Caterer on vocals, guitar, and bass. They had 3 different drummers throughout the band's career.
