Siamese Fighting fish problem?

I have a Siamese Fighting fish and he is weird! I have a very mixed tank and bought him about three months ago. After a couple of weeks he keeps going into the top corner of the tank and just floating there and not moving. I have nearly fished him out to chuck him away a few times but he's not dead, just looking a bit wobbly. I have isolated him in a little breeding container and he recovers really well and is then fine again for a few weeks til it happens again. ALl my other fish (Angels, Gouramis, Tetras, Mollies, Firefoxes, Plecs and Sharks) are absolutely fine.
Any ideas would be welcome
 
Well, bettas are pretty hard to keep with other fish, espcially the ones you have. Bettas are lazy fish,and they breathe air. As long as he's upright at the top and eating he should be fine.
