Shugo Chara!

Yaya in the guardians looks way too much like Shinku. That and the green chara (forgot her name) looks slightly like, and sounRAB like Suiseiseki. Desu.

By the way, as to what I've been talking about, and which may or may not be revealed in episode 9...

MANGA SPOILER (do not read if you value secrecy)
Nadeshiko is really a guy. It's revealed later in the manga but I thought it would be good to mention now...

I don't know if anyone else is following this but I just watched episode 23 and my opinion is still the same, very good comedy, cute characters, good animation and art style.

It's good to see that the characters are actually growing and changing themselves.

To me, Yaya and Shinku don't look all or act that similar. In appearence, they aren't that similar since Yaya has light brown hair and eyes while Shinku has blonde hair and blue eyes. In personality, Yaya is pretty childish while Shinku is more sophisticated like how a Victorian should be.

As for Amu's green chara, her name is actually Suu. The similarities between Suu and Suiseiseki are pretty amusing, though it's superficial at best. When we first heard her in the next episode preview for the episode she was being introduced, I laughed really hard when she ended all of her sentences with Desu. Of course, I shouldn't have been surprised since Peach Pit did make both Rozen Maiden and Shugo Chara!

But why did I read that spoiler. Though I'll have to admit that she did a really good job at hiding it. Now that I think back to the discussion on the AnimeSuki forum and the hinting someone made to that, it does make sense. So unless Hotori goes that way, I guess Amu has a better chance at winning the Prince's love. Personally, I prefer Amu ending up with Ikuto.

I'm just very paranoid about stinku lookalikes. Anyway episode 9 came out yesterday. I thought a certain...thing....would be revealed, but nope. I just hope they don't finish the series without revealing it. The episode itself was good because it broke away from that sickeningly repetitive formula of problem>confrontation>happy end. That and Nadeshiko is my favourite character. Too bad we didn't see her character change.

By the way that random ass guy who softsubbed 10 is no good, wait for formula.

I don't understand why, but everything from Peach Pit that has been adapted into an anime is fairly phenomenal. There is nothing new in their series that would catch my attention, but my interest never fades. As lame or unimaginative as the settings are, I still find myself watching every episode to the very end. It's very enjoyable, and I don't know why.

I'm getting sentimental.

In prison it means that the gangleader or mafia boss is allowing everyone within their circle of influence to go rape, shank and kill whoever has been green lighted.

In this case I assume it means that there will be enough material or demand for a sequel ala Pretty Cure series.

The only thing I enjoyed out of episode 23 was looking back at Nikaido's past. The robots were driving me nuts. Dunno why, but I hate robots in anime, they seem to be worse than crowd characters.

Episode 12 was great, though as mentioned it's a bit depressing for a Christmas episode.

We learn a bit more about Utau and the organization in the shadows. It seems like from here on in things will be getting more serious, a welcome change from those few episodes of generic formula.

I've seen this show mentioned all over different forums I frequent, and now i'm definetly interested in seeing it.
It's getting a second season I heard?

I want to know who voices the sub-characters, I want to know which branch studios helped animate, I want to know the producers, the storyboard planners and the little people behind the scenes. I want it all.

And if I have to pay an extra 50rab per episode then that is what I shall do.

While that sounRAB great, based on the DVD solicitations it appears that Shugo Chara! is going to run for 51 episodes.

I haven't read the manga but I'm not sure if they can fill these remaining episodes without resorting to fillers.

I'm hopng they don't. Also I read a recent chapter of Shugo Chara in Nakayoshi and it sure as heck wasn't filler. I have hope for Peach-Pit, baseless as it may be.

After my frienRAB talking about it for the longest time I finally gave this anime a chance. I know it's geared towarRAB kiRAB, but I love it and it has tons of stuff hidden in there for adults. You know how they throw those jokes that children would never understand into different forms of media.

It's cool that it's being picked up for a second season. Right now I just need to make it through the first season. Right now I am a huge fan of Ikuto and Yoru. Yoru is just so adorable. I want to hug and squeeze that little guy so badly.
